Description
This includes cutting/crowning as well as threading. This service is for standard bolt gun barreled actions – Remington 700 Winchester Model 70, etc.. Threads will be concentric to the bore. Threads are either standard .400 for pistol/rimfire caliber or .600 for rifle caliber. There are no custom thread length or crown options. There is no relief cut at the shoulder on our threads. Do NOT send the complete rifle – just send your barreled action without the stock, scope base, trigger, magwell and bolt. If you send parts still attached to your receiver, we will take them off and send them back to you in a bag. We do not offer any service to reinstall parts you were not supposed to send. If you want the barrel shortened note length in the comment section at checkout. When barrels are cut, they are all measured from a closed bolt face as the standard measurement.
If you are making an SBR from a barreled action, YOU have to make it first (chop barrel under 16) then send it to us to finish.
See chapter 6 of the NFA Handbook, Section 6.4. Chop it down to 15″ then we can shorten/thread it to your specs.
You must include a copy of a photo ID. The address on the photo ID is the address where we will return ship the firearm. No exceptions. Turn around time for this service is 7-10 business days.
*There are some barrel/action combos that we can not do. Unfortunately we don’t know what they are until we see them, but common no can dos include Ruger M77s, SKS, Mosin Nagants and others.
If the barreled action does not contain any part/protrusion that is more than 1.25″ off the center line of the bore we can probably thread it.
