Threading Barreled Action*

Description

This includes cutting/crowning as well as threading. This service is for standard bolt gun barreled actions – Remington 700 Winchester Model 70, etc.. Threads will be concentric to the bore. Threads are either standard .400 for pistol/rimfire caliber or .600 for rifle caliber.  There are no custom thread length options.   Do NOT send the complete rifle – just send your barreled action without the stock, scope base, trigger and bolt. If you want the barrel shortened note length in the comment section at checkout. When barrels are cut, they are all measured from a closed bolt face as the standard measurement.   If you send any firearm, you must include a copy of a photo ID. The address on the photo ID is the address where we will return ship the firearm. No exceptions.  Turn around time for this service is 2-28 business days. We only thread barreled actions 1 day a month. Depending on when we feel like doing it and when you barrel arrives – turn around could be 2 or 20 days. All measurements are from the bolt face.

*There are some barrel/action combos that we can not do.   Unfortunately we don’t know what they are until we see them, but common no can dos include Ruger M77s, SKS, Mosin Nagants and others.
